Professional Associations


Dr. Rebecca is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physcians (AANP) and the Massachusetts Association of Naturopathic Doctors. The AANP is the unifying professional association for naturopathic medicine. Its governing body includes delegates from state level Naturopathic Associations. The goals of the AANP are to promote the public health, to maintain high standards of education and medical practice, and to encourage scientific research.

The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians supports legislation to license and regulate naturopathic physicians in all states, in order to distinguish properly trained physicians.

National board examinations are administered by the Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examination.

  2. American College of Naturopathic Obstetricians - ACNO
  3. Naturopathic Physicians Acupuncture Association - NPAA

Naturopathic Medicine is currently licensed in 13 states. To be licensed as a Naturopathic doctor you must graduate from an accredited school, pass a national and state licensing exam and attend over 20 hours of continuing education per year. Rebecca currently holds her license in Vermont as she works with other naturopathic doctors in Massachusetts to get the licensure bill passed.
